Cambridge ESOL Certificate in
English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA)

CELTA is an initial qualification for people with little or no previous teaching experience and opens up a whole world of exciting teaching opportunities.

Applicants need not necessarily be graduates, but should have university entrance standard qualifications ('A' levels or equivalent). Non-native speakers are required to have a near-native speaker level of language competence.

Applicants will be interviewed and asked to complete a language awareness/methodology task and to write a short essay before being accepted onto the course.
