Course Objectives The aim of this course is to teach students general English at an elementary level (A1 – A2). By the end of the course, the students will have learned to understand and use present simple, present continuous and past simple tenses in communicative contexts. They will be able to skim and scan simple texts on a variety of topics and write a paragraph of 80-100 words on common topics. They’ll be able to ask for and give information and give simple descriptions of people, things and places
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • use a range of vocabulary
  • identify main ideas in a text
  • write their own short paragraphs
  • take part in small discussions in English
  • compose a paragraph of 80-100 words
Course Content Basic English reading, comprehension, writing, and listening skills.
