This course has been created to prepare students for topics related to food and eating habits, shopping and payment dialogues, clothes, health questions, and giving information about family.
Providing students of Tourism and Hotel Management with Occupational German knowledge.
Elective Courses
GER 301 German Language V
In this course, basic language learning skills, reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, are developed by using visual, audio and written texts on issues related to accommodation types, city tours, education system, job postings, resumes and holidays.
GER 302 German Language VI
This course is designed to make students, who are Basic Users in the scope of Common European Framework of Reference, achieve B1 level, which is named as Wastage.
GER 310 Business in German
This course is designed to prepare students for their professional environment on topics related to German spelling rules, phonetics and pronunciation, idioms, vocabulary in business life.
GER 320 German Culture and Art
This course is designed to prepare students for subjects related to the history, geography, social and cultural structure of German-speaking countries.
GER 401 German Language VII
In this course, basic language learning skills, reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, are developed by using visual, audio and written texts on issues related to human relations, occupational accidents, German education system, global warming and climate change.
GER 402 German Language VIII
The aim of this course is to make students, who are Basic Users in the scope of Common European Framework of Reference, achieve B1 Level-Independent User.
