    Course Objectives The aim of this course, which is the second step of A1 level in the scope of Common European Framework of Reference, is to make students gain (listening-reading-speaking and writing skills through common daily phrases and simple and plain sentences.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • will be able to follow simple information on directions, opening hours of museums and shops, a typical dialogue while shopping, daily activities using adverbs of frequency, conversations about past events and weather forecast when spoken slowly and clearly to them
    • will be able to analyze appropriate level of texts like opening hours of shops, short greeting cards, simple meal recipes, short and simple messages on postcards/e-mails including travel experiences and plans.
    • will be able to interact on simple information on directions, weather forecast, working hours, thoughts on past events, how frequently they do certain things and prices of products when shopping.
    • will be able to express themselves with simple phrases while describing cities, location of buildings/places, holiday activities, past events, daily life, grocery shopping, most important Italian festivals and celebrations and vocabulary related.
    • will be able to produce a short text on daily life, holiday activities and past events.
    Course Description The course isdesigned to prepare students for expressing topics such as description of place/city, grocery shopping, directions, opening hours, weather forecast, holiday activities, past events and daily life.
