    Course Objectives This course aims to bring the beginner student’s listening, reading, speaking and writing skills at A1.1 level through the appropriate knowledge and concepts within the framework of the Common European Framework of Reference.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • follow letters and numbers of the Italian alphabet, short speeches and simple dialogues related to personal introductions, promotional advertisements for restaurants, cafes, bars, and holidays.
    • analyze basic texts on personal information, eating habits, Italian menus, hotel services, and the advantages and disadvantages of living in a city..
    • Interact on issues regarding personal information, ordering in cafes, bar, restaurant, making restaurant reservations, hotel check-in and addressing encountered problems and language school registration.
    • Express themselves using simple phrases about personal introductions, professions and workplaces, eating habits and preferences, residential locations, and desired holiday destinations.
    • Produce a short paragraph containing personal information and their positive or negative opinions about hotel services.
    Course Description This course is designed to prepare students for introducing themselves or someone else, personal information, ordering in the restaurant and bar, restaurant reservations, hotel services and the problems encountered, residential locations, and desired holiday destinations.
