    Course Objectives The aim of this course is to prepare students for international Italian Certificate Exam in order to certify their language proficiency at A2 level in the scope of Common European Framework of Reference.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • Students will be able to follow the names and locations of the main buildings in the city center or around their homes, a dialogue about the types of sports, actor / actress biographies, an event planning for the weekend, long conversations on topics such as artistic activities, theater plays, painting exhibitions when speaking slowly and clearly
    • Students will be able to comprehend ta brochure about sports events, an e-mail about the event to be held on the weekend, a short text containing special occasions and holidays, and the main idea of simple texts about movies and the subject of the movies.
    • Students,using the appropriate patterns, will be able to answer questions about the directions, about the possible problems in the activities, the types of sports they love using the right action for each sport, the team they are holding, and the simple questions about the subject of the movie being watched in a conversation with their friends.
    • Students will be able to express by looking at the map where some of the buildings in the city are, how often they attend events such as cinema, theater, exhibitions, by distinguishing fruits and vegetables, the names of foods and beverages that have daily basic needs, by listing their needs, how much they need, special days when Italians and Turks celebrate, their thoughts about the film, what is going on in the film,their own views and opinions on factors affecting health such as an activity made in the past, sports and exercise.
    • Students will be able to write a brochure for a sport activity they plan to do, a short text about their hobbies using expressions that state their ability, a reminder message with shopping-related shortcomings, a past activity, a festival / feast or a short text about special occasions, a concert or theater they watch, e-mail to those around them.
    Course Description This course is designed to improve students reading, listening, writing and speaking.language skills through autentic materials.
