    Course Objectives This course aims to improve the listening, reading, speaking and writing skills of B1.2 level students to B1.3 level through written translation within the Common European Framework of Reference.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • Students will be able to follow success stories of Italian fashion designers, social and cultural role of aperitif in daily Italian life, impact of a blog post on learning Italian, creating a resume interview, and speeches about the influence of art on daily life.
    • Students will be able to analyze texts related to art histories while exploring the rich history of Italian fashion design, the evolution of the Italian language, the education system, employment strategies and cultural heritage.
    • Students will be able to interact on aiming to improve their communication skills and effectiveness both in daily life (a typical Italian bar, helping visitors in a museum) and in a business environment (job interview simulation).
    • Students will be able to express themselves on topics related to describing Italian male style, creating creative stories using their language skills, personal experiences and educational experiences for exams or competitions.
    • Students will be able to produce texts to explore their imagination and express their creativity on topics such as creating a motivation letter and CV, reflecting personal preferences and values at work, describing design objects and works of arts.
    • Students will be able to translate B1.3 level written texts from Italian to Turkish.
    Course Description This course is designed to prepare students for understanding and evaluating various aspects of Italian culture, enriching their cultural and language skills, expanding their creativity, and strengthening their expressive abilities.
