    Course Objectives This course aims to develop the four basic language skills the students within the scope of B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
    • 1. express past experiences from travels verbally and in a written form
    • 2. follow speeches or podcast about people´s character depending on their way of travelling, about Netflix series and movies,
    • 3. analyze texts in order to give information on their content,
    • 4. interact in dialogues or interviews in order to make suggestions about travelling, movies or TV series,
    • 5. suggest predictions of what the future will be like in terms of society, jobs, health, sport, home, clothes, etc.
    • 6. exchange opinions on movies, books or social media posts verbally and in a written form.
    Course Description Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. Can produce connected texts on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Can describe experiences and events, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
