    Course Objectives The aim of this course is to have students who are Basic Users in the scope of Common European Framework of Reference develop and improve their speaking skills at level A2 both by making individual presentations and by interacting with other people in Spanish.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • Use appropriate vocabulary included in different areas as specified in the CEFR (personal information, family, relationships, leisure, etc.) for each specific situation or subject.
    • Use appropriate pronunciation and intonation in their speeches.
    • Communicate ideas with confidence, using communication strategies to make their Spanish sound more natural and fluent.
    • Produce short presentations in public communicating ideas with confidence and preparing for possible questions later about them..
    • Create a creative short video presentation with organized ideas, coherent texts and sentences well-connected.
    • Engage in basic interactions by asking questions, answering questions, initiating or responding to simple statements on familiar topics and / or situations.
    Course Description The student can introduce him/herself to others and use greetings, describe places, pictures and artworks and give his/her opinion and valoration; can ask and answer questions about familiar matters and properly react and interact with others. He/She can produce simple connected presentations on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. He/She can describe experiences and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
