    Course Objectives This course aims to prepare the students who aim at certifying their mastery of the Spanish language for academic or professional reasons in A2 level, according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • Students who finish this course successfully will be able to: deduce specific information from basic texts such as personal letters or emails and from short and simple informative texts.
    • • identify the main and supporting ideas in narrative texts such as biographies, diaries, travel guides and blogs.
    • • follow simple dialogues about habits, free time and shopping.
    • • recognize the important information in audio sources related to practical matters such as appointments, advertisements and requests.
    • • produce a short text with information about everyday topics, such as habits, preferences, places, experiences, likes and dislikes
    • • engage in short conversations to meet basic needs or in informal conversations about daily activities, free time, work, likes and dislikes.
    Course Description The course is designed to prepare students for A2 level certification exams in Spanish by focusing on all four language skills and familiarizing the students with exams through authentic materials such as sample exams, candidate performances and exam recordings. At the end of the course there is a full-length real exam for the student to test all the knowledge acquired throughout the course within the allowed time.
