BADGING IN THE SCHOOL OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Starting in the 2019-2020 academic year, we wanted to recognize the contributions that our colleagues were making to their ongoing professional development, as well as the collective improvement of the whole SFL.  
A rising tide lifts all boats.

This page is a repository – a backpack if you will – of the digital badges that our colleagues have earned through the projects that they designed and implemented and publicly presented – all in the face of Covid!

What do 'stars' mean?

One-star badge: The instructor decides on the process of the PD project, takes the initial steps for preparation and implements the subsequent procedure till it is successfully finalized.

Two-star badge: All the above, the instructor submits a written reflection on the impact of his/her PD.

Three-star badge: Including all the above, the instructor shows proof that other colleagues have benefited from this professional experience.

The IUE trainers also offer training events for all the instructors in different parts of the world. The participants earn global badges when they successfully fulfill the requirements of these trainings.
