(03-04 August 2026) End of Year Proficiency in English Exam List

To the Attention of Continuing Prep Students

The End-of-Year Proficiency in English Exam list for the written component to be administered on 03 August 2026 is listed below according to student ID number. The End-of-Year Proficiency in English Speaking exam will be administered on 04 August 2026. The Speaking Exam appointments will be announced on 03 August 2026 after 17.00 on our SFL website (https://sfl.ieu.edu.tr/en/announcements/type/all). Please read the announcements carefully.  

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PIE EXAM AND SCORES

In the PIE exam, students must score at least 40% or above in each section (writing, listening and reading, grammar, and speaking). Additionally, students must achieve a total score of at least 65.00 to be considered successful in the Proficiency in English exam for associate and undergraduate programs.

The first session of the End-of-Year Proficiency in English Exam will take place on August 3, 2026, starting at 09:00. All students are required to be present at their exam locations no later than 08:40.

You are responsible for reading and following the rules and guidelines provided in the attached exam handbook. Please read it carefully and make sure you are well prepared.

PIE EXAM SCHEDULE

AUGUST 03, 2026 (MONDAY)

Exam Prep & ID Check                                                                                              08:40-09:00

Duration: 20 minutes *Students are not allowed to leave the exam room after ID check.

Session I - Writing (80 minutes)                                                                                   09:00-10:20

BREAK à 10:20-10:50 (30 minutes)

Duration: 20 minutes *Students are not allowed to leave the exam room after ID check.

Session II – Listening & Reading (105 minutes)                                                          11:10-12:55

BREAK à 12:55-13:45 (50 minutes)

Duration: 15 minutes *Students are not allowed to leave the exam room after ID check.

Session III – Use of English (60 minutes)                                                                     14:00-15:00

Session IV - Speaking                                                                                                   09:00-13:00
