Izmir University of Economics (IUE) School of Foreign Languages has launched a special program to promote the pedagogical, ethical, and effective use of artificial intelligence in English language teaching. 

Izmir University of Economics (IUE), which aims to provide the best career opportunities to its students by providing them with the skills sought by the business world, received a grant of 22 thousand pounds from the British Council, a UK-based international arts, culture and education organization. IUE became one of the 3 universities in Turkey that qualified to receive a grant this year within the scope of the ‘Connect4Innovation’ project.

Jairo David Estrada Barrios, the Ambassador of Guatemala, one of the Central American countries, in Republic of Turkey, and Stephanie Garcia H. de Elbay, the Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Guatemala visited Izmir University of Economics (IUE).

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) hosted the photography exhibition titled, ‘Life Chronicles’, which is about the diaries of Mexican painters Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.

Proving its quality of education in foreign languages once again, Izmir University of Economics (IUE) became the first university to be accredited by the Association for Language Education, Evaluation and Accreditation (DEDAK) for its 'Preparatory Program' for 5 years.

We are very proud to announce that IUE SFL Prep Program is the first in Turkey to receive 5-year accreditation status from DEDAK -  The Association for Language Education, Evaluation, and Accreditation.

The Association for Language Education, Evaluation and Accreditation (DEDAK), which works to improve the quality of language education in Turkey, has been authorized to supervise foreign language education institutions.

The academics of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) pioneered the structuring of organizations that guide the professional development of English teachers in Turkey. 

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) School of Foreign Languages carried out a joint project with Izmir Provincial Directorate of National Education in order to contribute to the professional development of English teachers working in different schools of the city.

Famous Italian Chef Danilo Zanna was the guest of Izmir University of Economics ITL 350 Italian Gastronomy Terminology course.
