To the Attention of Newly Registered Students - English Exams to be Administered on September 01, 02, and 03, 2026
Dear Students,
Welcome to Izmir University of Economics English Preparatory Program! We wish you success during your time here at our university.
Newly registered students will take the English Placement Exam to determine their level of English. Students who score 70.00 or above will qualify to take the Proficiency in English Exam.
You can access detailed information about the exams to be held on September 1, 2, and 3, 2026, by scanning the QR code.
In addition to details about our English Prep Program, exam schedules and lists will be announced on our SFL website (https://sfl.ieu.edu.tr/en/announcements/type/all) on August 31, 2026 after 18.00. Please follow the announcements carefully.
You do not need to register for any of these exams.
Make-up exams for the English Placement and Proficiency in English will not be administered.

Proficiency in English Exam (PIE) - PIE Spoken Component Session IV – Speaking
The Speaking Exam List for the Proficiency in English Exam (PIE) will be announced on the SFL website (https://sfl.ieu.edu.tr/en/announcements/type/all) after 18:00 on 2 September 2026.
Students are required to be present at the exam venue with their student ID cards at least 5 minutes before their scheduled speaking exam time.
Note: Candidates who do not have their student ID cards with them will not be admitted to the exam. |
