To the Attention of Graduate Program Applicants – English Exams to Be Held on September 03 and 04, 2026

In order to determine the English proficiency levels of graduate program applicants, applicants are first required to take the English Placement Test. Applicants who score 70.00 or above on the English Placement Test are eligible to take the Proficiency in English Exam (PIE).

Detailed information regarding the English Placement Test, including exam times, exam rooms, and student lists, will be announced after 16:00 on September 02, 2026, on the SFL Announcements page:

Students are required to bring their IUE Student ID Cards to the exam. Students who have not yet received their IUE Student ID Cards must bring their Turkish Republic (T.C.) Identity Cards for identification purposes.

Students with an IUE Student ID Card may enter the University through either the Main Entrance or Entrance C. Students who do not yet have an IUE Student ID Card must enter the University only through the Main Entrance using their T.C. Identity Cards.

Important: There are no make-up exams. You are not required to submit an application or register to take the Placement Test or Proficiency in English Exam.
